I’m a nature and fine art photographer, especially drawn to the often overlooked, ordinary details of the local landscape. I am nationally accredited by the Professional Photographers of Canada in both Fine Art, and Botanicals photography.

Living and photographing in rural Ontario, I spend time wandering the forests, fields, lakes, and wetlands. The unique and diverse Canadian seasons provide an ever-changing backdrop. There is always something different and unexpected.

Most recently, my projects explore creative images which often fall outside traditional photography, using techniques that look impressionist, sometimes blurred or abstract.

Maintaining a daily mindfulness meditation practice for the past eight years, with ongoing trainings and retreats, has been an important part of my life. It has also clarified my artistic choices. Being fully present cultivates moment-to-moment noticing and deep appreciation of the details less obvious in a fast-paced world.

As the earth becomes more threatened by the climate crisis, appreciating what we have is vital. Thank you for taking time to visit.
